Happy 2011!
A bright and dry New Year's weekend in Seattle is a perfect way to start this year. The city gleams with the bright sunlight and the water looks tempting enough to dive straight in.
We spent New Years eve with my colleagues Lars and Barney. Lars' wife Maria had put together a generous spread of Spanish Tapas. It was really good. But the star of the evening was the dessert. Spanish Lemon Sorbet with Cava. After which went to watch fireworks at Space Needle and made 12 wishes one grape at a time when the clock chimed 12. It is a traditional Spanish New Year welcome.
BTW, someday when I make the sorbet dessert it I shall post a picture swimming in the Cava-land.
