Amma eeeeennaaaa
One of my closest friends Miss Lulla (amma eeeennnaaaaa) is getting married in Februrary 2012 to her G. All preparations have started and being so far away, I cannot be of any help. Heena and Gaurav are like the Jaya-Amitabh Bachchan couple height-wise, but have much more chemistry than the latter ;)
The trio of Heena, I and Sri really bonded into great friends after college. She had come down to London last year and we both went on a girly holiday to Edinburgh in Scotland.
Lots of sightseeing, catching up on each others lives, remembering of college days happened. It was so much fun. I think the craziest thing we did there was dress up like a Scottish mother and child and take this pic. And that had provided us enough entertainment for the rest of the holiday as we kept laughing like maniacs.
The bevdees that we are, we obviously HAD to take the whiskey tour which turned out to be very interesting indeed. Learn't a lot about Scotch and the differences between single-malt and blended versions. Scottish whiskey types are based on regional quatlities. The Highlands, Lowland, Islay and Speyside. I particularly loved the Lowland varieties. My love for whiskey continued as I cheekily bought a whiskey laced condom for Heena and G as a wedding gift ;)
Heena is one of the platinum members in my life. Shreyas Adyanthaya had explained a few years ago on how most friends in life can be divided into Platinum, Gold or Silver members, with only the privileged ones deserving a platinum membership. You are one of them Heena. muaaazzz. Love you.
Can't promise you yet about being there on your big day, but here's wishing you and Gaurav a lifetime of happiness and laughter.
